Our collaboration with Classic Griptape is now live on the World’s Best Griptape webstore.
…is it? Can it be? Is it …really? It is! It is! It’s John Choi in the new Limosine edit! “I Just Took A Bite Of Dirt” dropped right after the QS office closed for the weekend. After-black Max Palmer hammers are the best types of after-black hammers.
“Fork Your Former Dinner Or U Cant Have Shit” by Phat House is a New Jersey and Philly video that probably has the deepest dive for spots out of anything to come out this year. Double cellar doors between buildings, stacks of cinderblocks and landings into running water — incredible work from everybody involved.
Jahmal Williams by Pep Kim for issue #21 of Vague Skate Mag. The Jahmal cover article isn’t online, but the issue is on sale now.
ICYMI: A Flushing grate N.B.D. that’s been speculated for years on end, a Lego piece between the two rails at the Williamsburg Bridge monument, and a wild one at Grant’s Tomb in Frankie Spears’ all-New York outing of X-Games Real Street.
From flatbars in the driveway to bringing the town its first skate shop: Jake Johnson is opening up IQ Skateshop in his hometown of State College, Pennsylvania ♥
It’s sold out everywhere, but just another nod to how great the Brandon Turner guest board for Carpet Company is. 10/10 to everyone involved.
Thanks to everybody who grabbed something from the webstore last week ♥ Should be caught up on shipping in the next few days. Available at shops worldwide now. If you came looking for XLs after the relaunch and it was coming up sold out, check back now. Restocked a bunch of styles in XL. (Will do 2XL on the next release for everyone who has been asking, yes.)
Last week, the New York City Public Design Commission voted unanimously to remove and relocate the Roosevelt statue in front of the Museum of Natural History. There are renderings available that propose fully flattening the chains + pedestal section of the
plaza skate spot, but there has been no formal decision on the design once the statue is gone — with people saying they should rethink the pedestal space (A.K.A. the #perfectlearningheight ledge that everyone loves) rather than just leveling where it once stood.

“She’s like, ‘Are you that exciting that somebody is going to follow you all day?’ And I’m like, ‘Hell yeah.'” There’s a bit of #fomo with each slice of content that involves friends abroad these days. Pocket‘s “Followed” segment kicked it with Hjalte Halberg for a day. Yes there are noseslides, yes we miss his beautiful Danish voice. “Ah, ok, fuck.”
“Who knows what love is” is a fifteen-minute homie video by Lorenzo Frijas. 2/3 Bay Area footage, 1/3 New York, all good vibes the whole way through ♥
Jahmir Brown is the latest guest on The Bunt.
Still devastated after finding out that his Yeah Right! part was fake back in September. Never thought Takeshi 6ix9ine would be the one to ruin all of our childhoods…
Crawled under a rock Friday morning? Dime’s Knowing Mixtape Volume 2 is live.
Safe to say that Marcello won the Pyramid Ledges best trick contest that Jenkem has going on. Wow.
Rashad Murray’s part in the D.C-based Bottleneck video rips.
