Max Geronzi’s “No Fixed Address” Part

After a tenure in Barcelona as a figurehead of the seminal Gronze franchise (we’re huge fans of the Gronze-ian extended fam), Max Geronzi has been on the move.

“No Fixed Address” bounces between Paris, Marseille, a couple alleyways and tight run-ups in Japan, plus a bit of boomeranging back to Barce to put together Max’s first solo part in what feels like a minute.

And as firm believers in the axiom that the nollie tre is the 4th best form of tre flip, that has to be the most beautiful nollie tre ever, no? Without even a real nose on the board!

Filmed and edited by Augustin Giovannoni.

Perfect Timing — Dime’s “Enjoy The Winter Now” Video

Word from our dozens of satellite offices across Canada is that the first snow hit Montreal this past weekend. And with that, the Canadian Weather Service demanded that Dime release “Enjoy The Winter Now,” a quick send off to warmer times when stragglers would hang out the week after Glory Challenge, basking in the bipolar high that is Montreal in the summertime.

Unlike past Dime projects, this one is helmed by one of our favorite videographers, and Parisian expat, Augustin Giovannoni. (Favorite memory of Glory Challenge this past year wasn’t even actually at Glory Challenge: we were eating at Doubles after it ended and Nonni came in swinging one of the plastic swords floating around the event all day, knocked over a clock on the wall, which then knocked over ten beers on the table like it was a perfect strike in bowling. Couldn’t write it if you tried.)

‘Where Were You When I Was [Pop] Shoving In The Sleeveless?’

Thanks to everyone who grabbed something from the webstore ❤️ Should be caught up on shipping orders soon. Available at skateshops worldwide now.

Everyone who has logged years skating Tompkins has an immediate answer to “what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever seen walking into the Tompkins bathroom?” Let’s see if the $5 million they put into renovating it keeps it from becoming the tenth ring of hell again. Now open!

“Yeah, I think that when you show everything, it allows more people in. There are people I know who don’t skate who have watched this and for them it’s like a hero’s journey or something: You’re watching someone go through something, and you can maybe sympathize with me, or maybe think I’m insane, but you get that I’m trying really hard to do something. You don’t need to understand the context for the tricks to get that.” The menswear SubStack, Blackbird Skyplane, got the elusive Bobby DeKeyzer on the horn for an interview about his new part.

Trust Your Kickflip

Nolan Zangas’ photography book, So Far So Good, is now for sale online.

Greg Navarro’s follow-up to 2021’s Upper West Side Curb Club, which was filmed entirely at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument, will be The Central Park Flatground Club, a video entirely filmed within the confines of Central Park’s 842 acres — a place not exactly known for its abundance of skateable objects.

“It can be a delicate dance to do something you love for money. I’m sure I could have kept my career going for a while, and it was tempting to do that because I was making really good money, but I felt strongly I needed to do something else.” Jenkem interviewed known goat John Gardner about leaving his pro skateboarding career behind so he could focus on doing mental health counseling. Godspeed, John ❤️

“New York was the one where I was, like, ‘Holy shit, these are skate spots.'” Closer posted up Farran Golding’s interview with Nelly Morville from their last issue on their website.

Rest in Peace Robbie McKinley ❤️ Scan via Chromeball

Pretty much all of our collective experiences of Copenhagen are within the bipolar high that is the Scandinavian Summer. For a bit of a reality check of what it’s like on the opposite side of that seasonal coin, our friends at Dancer dropped an “Endless Winter” montage featuring Hjalte, David Stenström + others. Still seems pretty fun, tbh.

Some nice bits of New York footage in the Charlotte-based AVENUE video parts that have been dropping across a few outlets: Vague has Jermaine Whittaker’s part, which includes a 10/10 Three Up Three Down performance, and Skate Jawn has Ethan Kaplan’s part, which includes a NBD (?) ollie at the white building plaza across from Pyramid Ledges.

Orchard Skateshop Capo, Armin Bachman, has a new mini part out for Pepper Griptape. That bank to curb ender in Barcelona really came out of nowhere 💥

The Duplex crew has a new montage video series on Thrasher, entitled “Low Rent.”
