Paris In August

Conor the lost Polar rider. Happy early birthday baby. Photo by Genesis Evans, who posted up a bunch of shots from the October 2018 Japan trip with everyone and everybody. Damn, miss traveling yo :(

The T.F. is closed, as of Sunday afternoon, until … ?

“What the fuck? Fuck.” The Hélas dudes’ twelve minutes of raw footage from their trip to New York while filming for Fellas is predictably… fucked.

“People always want to trap people in a box for what they’re good at.” Thrasher posted the audio of Tyshawn’s interview from their last issue, on the occasion of their “passing the torch” S.O.T.Y. feature.

Life in the Slow Lane

Austyn Gillette by Andrew James Peters. 2011.

An interesting quarantine contest would be best rendition of Fred Gall’s phone call to Tony Hawk, which Boil the Ocean just transcribed for posterity purposes. That means comic book renderings, live action re-creations, claymation, anime, abstract art, whatever. Kinda like a skate version of The Simpsons “Steamed Hams” remixes. Yes? No? Loved every minute of it! Kevin Taylor and the Scumco dudes toured through the backwoods and office plazas of Upstate New York for a fun new edit.

Welcome To The Party

The classic “We’ve been stuck at Columbus Park all day but at least there’s a pretty sunset”-photo. Any skaters ever from these buildings?

“Are you getting the Travis Scott SBs?”
“Yeah, we’re getting them. We’re doing a raffle over the phone — you just have to sing a Travis Scott song right now. Just tell us which one, and we’ll drop the beat.”

Area Code is a new full-length video out of The Bronx by Edgar Padilla. Features an opener from Angel Fonseca, and an ender part from Olu Stanley. And like any video out of The Bronx, it feels refreshingly different than the Tompkins-Mural Ledge-Pyramids Ledges-whatever circuit we find ourselves in on a typical #content hunt.
