Best Caesar in Toronto

Catch the Hardbody crew on I-95 this week 💨

This is probably four clips shy of being a capital-P *part*, but our dude and Bunt Jam sharpshooter, Rezza Honarvar, has a new one for Miami’s Andrew Skateshop. Still surreal seeing tricks go down on that CBS ledge in 2023. Loved the fakie ollie, too 💪

Dustin Henry now rides for Frog. If you know anything about Dustin Henry’s extensive sponsor history, you know that it had to happen. Frog dropped a lil’ welcome video, but the real heavy hitter clips are in that Vans video Shari White has on the way…

Spezzatura and squad have a new Milan scene video out: Panorama 2.

Avec the Homie

John Shanahan starts a line by rolling off the amphitheater at the Citi Field benches, props a tile up to the second level of the CBS benches, and kickflips off the grate side over the Crosby Street bump-to-bar in his latest DC part, in case you haven’t caught it yet.

Everybody’s unloading their fakie 5-0 flip out clips at Big Screen now that the spot’s knobbed 😔 Jasper Stieve and Neema Joorabchi come through with a new one for Free, featuring watery gap to grinds and exemplary frontside heelflip form.

“I think it’s safe to say that the range for a proper ledge height in a skate park setting should be between 13 1/2 and 14 1/4 inches.” Dave Caddo went around the city measuring the dimensions of some of its most oft-skated ledges, from the 12-inch-high Reggaeton fence ledge or the 19-inch-high Flushing Meadows Park Ledges. He compiled his findings over on his Substack, Skait Brane.

Zered is the latest subject of the Lookback Library’s “Cover Discussions” series, chatting about his three Transworld covers and three Skateboarder covers. (Crazy he hasn’t had a Thrasher one before, especially given the Massachusetts connection with Phelps.)

“Caller 10” is a crustaceous journey by Pittsburgh’s Radio Skateshop through one of the roughest cities for skate spots. Includes a great Zach Funk part to close it out.

While we’re on the topic of crust, peep Adam Meuller’s part in Justin Bohl’s Detroit video, Minted, which includes everything from lines on broken boats through abandoned buildings to polejams out of snow piles.

“h” is a new, eighteen-minute homie video by Blaine Williams that’s mainly filmed in New York, with a sick part from Aidan Spencer to close it out. The fact the Polish Park planter-side ledges have endured for so long despite having three-feet of landing space is reason enough to never give up on your dreams ❤️

Casper Brooker has a great interview over on the Angel & Z podcast.

“So it was a little bit of everything: disappointment in myself, a little bit of wanting to try something new, and a lot of not thinking about it.” Spanky speaks about reinventing the way he skates and approaches video parts in the latest installment of Village Psychic + Ian Browning’s “Rules of Skateboarding” series. Spanky was also a recent guest on the How Long Gone podcast.

City in Smoke

When you hear Lenox has the fire wifi…

Naquan Rollings dropped a quick edit of his crew’s first session down the Brooklyn Banks 9. There are some beautiful pieces of flip trick #form in there.

Not even a few hours after it finished, the YouTubers compiled all the stories and Insta posts of the footage from the Hardies x Supreme event at 12th and A this past Saturday. Features obviously Tyshawn, but also Karim Callender, Troy Gipson, and Who Kid in the dunk tank.

Aaron Herrington and Lurker Lou hit the Staten Island flatbar park and more in the latest installment of Village Psychic’s “Lurking With Lou” series.
