All These Damn Plugs and Young Takeoff I’m the Socket

Feel like this should’ve been on the repost circuit way heavier… On Friday, Stussy dropped an eight-minute promo by Antosh Cimoszko featuring what amounts to small parts’ worth of footage from Aaron Loreth, Diego Todd, Jesse Alba and Hugo Boserup + appearances from others.

Also related: A few minutes of Diego Todd loosies.

The Halloween Stickers crew dropped HSS2 last week. No full Liam McCabe part, but that FedEx line is absolutely fucking insane. Not sure if anybody has done two flip tricks down the sixes before.

Must See TV

Young legend Coles Bailey is the latest subject of Skate Jawn‘s “$100 Chill” feature.

“‘If I was looking defeated, I would have been finishing rehab at the physical therapy place at Moda Center,’ says Boserio. ‘I looked at that drop-in twice a week for like nine months while I recovered from ACL surgery — thinking about how I should do it.'” Al Brown unlocks memories and recounts the joys of seeing skateboarding out in the wild before it makes its way into a video, via the prism of the Polar team filming in Portland for their past two videos.

ICYMI: Cyrus, Max, Karim + the rest of the Limosine team hit Oregon and Washington state, and brought back this edit + photo feature for Thrasher.

Seven Steps To Tompkins

Jenkem has an interview with Trung Nguyen, the architect behind last year’s most talked-about trick, and Big Parody.

“We are sad. People can say we are overreacting and that this spot will likely be liberated, but there is a gross feeling seeing the city prioritize something like this.” Village Psychic made a tribute to their local curb on the occasion of… the city knobbing a curb — appropriately titled, “Sadman Plaza.”

The QS office favorite Rios Crew out of Budapest just dropped a new video, entitled Uccsó. They’re as atmospheric and third-eye-open with the spots as ever, but it’s the filming that truly took on a new dimension in this one.

Came To Majorca For Nothing

Man, 8:15 might be long for a trip edit in our era of torched attention spans — but, hear me out — the majority of the crew from the Sicily trip spent the past two years cooped up stateside. And, AND, AND — the first time we made it out to Europe, Majorca was kind enough to bless us with no rain for ten days straight… we came back with a fuckin’ 30+ minute raw timeline 😲

Also, Justin and Nick went pro since that last trip, and pros stack 😈

Some of that 30+ minutes is chilling with horses, some of it was goofing around in an out-of-season water park, and all of it was at spots that Brady had been to throughout his ten times (seriously, ten) of visiting Majorca since the Blueprint days. Wrote a more extensive thing about it in the current issue of Free, which they’ll put online eventually ;)

Features Nick Michel, Justin Henry, Etienne Gagne, Diego Todd, Ben Blundell and Danny Brady. Supported by Vans.

Filmed by Johnathan Flechas and Emilio Cuilan. Edited by Emilio Cuilan.

Meet At The Ledge-to-Puddle

One of the lesser seen Harlem Banks shots — the infamous uptown spot discussed in the Full Bleed ten-year anniversary interview earlier this month. Mike “Tex” Kelly, shot by Spike Jonze in 1988. Spotted via Science Versus Life.

Definitely one of the last tricks to be captured at the Carroll Street manny pad — one of Gabe Tennen’s favorite skate spots — via Max Rowlette’s “Shadow” part, spotted via Skate Jawn.

Chauncey Ledges is an entirely different spot once the ground gets cold. Headgear’s “I’m Just Livin’ It” edit is pretty much an all-Chauncey video features James Sayres and friends.

Feels like this one should have some more eyes on it: “kindasorta” by Nate Hanson. The needle-thread ollie to completely perpendicular boardslide in Murray Hill (?) is wild.
