Gucci Bucket Hat

The only constant is change or some shit like that ;)

So much nineties New York footage on the #repost circuit is us re-mining R.B. Umali’s amazing archive over and over that it’s a shock to see something from then that you haven’t seen before. Alex Corporan started going through all his old tapes, and put together a montage as a preview for a Revisted-esque project he’s working on.

Grand Collection has a short commercial with Connor Champion on the occasion of their Umbro collaboration — loosely inspired by the DC Kalis commercial that played on TV twenty years ago. (Filmed in New York! Not Philly!)

(Saw that comments weren’t working for most of last week. That issue has [*hopefully*] been fixed. If you’re a devout QS commenter and still getting an error, hit us on social or e-mail.)

“Every interview cemented that yeah, he accomplished a lot but it was about skateboarding and that actually meant something that he fostered: growing a community by supporting people you believe in.” Anthony Pappalardo the Writer wrote a bit about Huf’s impact on him as an east coaster with teen eyes on San Francisco in the nineties.

Village Psychic re: “Huf & Friends” from Interface.

TWS rounded up the words and tributes from fellow pro skaters about the influence Keith Hufnagel had on their lives ♥

All remaining QS tees + whatever else we have left is on sale for cheap on our webstore. Mostly smalls and mediums left ♥ Thanks for your support, as always.

It has been really rad seeing so many skaters from different crews and generations out at the protests, so Jenkem put together a helpful guide on how to safely attend one. And a lot of people have been asking about where to go for info on meeting points: follow @justiceforgeorgenyc on Instagram, as they have a round-up of all protests and related events available the night before. Special shout to all the skate family out there distributing supply packs, you know who you are ♥

The Black List is a continually updated list of active black-owned skateboard companies, and links on how to support each one, curated by Patrick Kigongo (ColonelKSpeaks for all the Twitter people.) The Mostly Skateboarding dudes got Kigongo on their podcast this week, and Anthony Pappalardo the Writer also got some words from him on the origins of the project.

Units in the City

Summer 2020 QS stuff should be available at most, if not all, U.S. accounts now. Still arriving in Canada + Australia. Japan + Korea been had it. Arriving in Europe early June. Thank you to everyone who grabbed something from the webstore. We’ll be shipping all week, and yes, you will get a shipping confirmation + tracking when your order goes out. There’s still a good bit on there, though a lot of the tees are down to smalls and mediums. So funny how 3-4 years ago, it was XLs that were leftover, but now everyone seems to have sized up. Spread via Orchard.

The city is just installing randomass street hips for us to have fun on now?
