We’re Weaning Him Off The Aperol Now

Calling It There” is a New Haven, CT-based video by Mead Franz with a good chunk of NYC clips. It feels like the Virtual Reality Bump has been popping up in more homie edits lately? Makes sense, since it’s probably been out of fashion for ~ten-ish years and you know how cycles go. Also, dude sliding down that rock bank in BPC kinda-sideways was crazy.

Love all of K-Rod’s crazy tricks obvs, but seeing Kevin Rodrigues do “normal” ol’ ledge tricks [sturdy back tail, back noseblunt pop-out…] is almost jarring to the expectations. K-Rod, Hjalte, and Dino XL (!) in this Copenhagen trip edit by Nico.

“My mom once sent my grandma a picture of a young Jake Johnson, and she replied, ‘Aww, I love Shane.'” Heckride interviewed Atlanta’s Shane Farber.

A ‘HIT’ Video Sequel — Paul Coots’ ‘HURT’ Video

Didn’t think this Sunday morning would coincide with a new batch of Brian Brown footy (yes, “Under My Thumb,” Transworld Let’s Do This!-Brian Brown), but life is full of surprises :)

HURT is the new video by Paul Coutherut — the sequel to the 2021 crowd-pleaser, HIT. The video is a natural continuation from Coots and them’s BSA Boys series from the 2010s, only with an added presence of Max, Cyrus, Nik, Karim and the greater Limo-verse, in addition to a surprise ending mini section from Tony Hawk himself.

Was waiting to see how the title of the latest Polar project would manifest inside the video’s outtakes — you know, the whole “welcome to Jurassic Park“-thing — and it turns out that he indeed doesn’t know how to fucking airwalk. At least not yet.

But Emile does know how to do a lot of things. It was funny hearing reports from people who were able to make the New York premiere talk about Emile’s part in terms of what some of the spots in it weren’t: “the brick double-set he ollies in Portland isn’t even a spot,” “the transfer he does at Burnside isn’t even an actual possible transfer,” etc.

#QSTOP10 — November 22, 2024

After some deliberations, it was decided that the Foy trick enclosed was one of the more “under-covered” ones since the NB# vid went live, and if you were at the New York premiere, that was maybe the point in the part when people couldn’t help but laugh in utter disbelief at how insane some of the shit he was doing was. Went local for the Tiago one. The #1 should come as no surprise around these parts.

Have a good one. Make it rain, please.
