Our dear friends up at Orchard in Boston just dropped their most fully realized project of the Ted Purtell era. Word was it was supposed to go live last week (would’ve made it quite a week to be dropping an east coast shop vid with the word “bone” in the title 🙃), but people were insisting on one-upping their premiere night enders. A good problem to have if you’ve ever sat shotgun to a filmer who’s sighed “the video’s done when ___ gets their ender” across multiple months ;)
You’ll find parts from Sean Evans, Connor Noll, Brianna Delaney back tailing into a mini canyon alongside a smile-inducing Zered cameo, Lee Berman leading the vets, some stylish ledge-work from SirMichael Burrows, some beautiful hucking from Eamon Durkan, and of course, full parts from both JoJo and Eddie Vargas. The lore is that apparently Eddie tried that closing ollie the same night Alltimers called all the teamriders to let them know the company was done (Eddie was on flow at the time), hurt his ankle, healed up, and came back to conquer for Wishbone.
If one thing sticks out about a 2026 Boston video, it’s that it’s not the ledge town it once was when Eggs, Aquarium, and various slabbed of Financial District marble steered the set-dressing of any video. (Though as far as O.G. spots go, Planets is certainly on the comeback.) Everyone’s hucking more and more — I yelled at the screen at that opening kickflip Eddie crashes into the fence on, dudes are breaking boards mid-ollie on the bar they’re trying to clear, and even Bri doesn’t end off her part on a ledge trick. A good plunge into the abyss is nice once in a while. Especially when you gotta wait out the Boston winter right after.
