Kicked Out of Nowhere

Scumco seems to be shutting its doors. “Fading into oblivion” is how they worded it. Boards + more are on sale on their webstore if you’re looking for one last ride ❤️

Better late than never! Thrasher uploaded the edit of Tyshawn’s S.O.T.Y. trip to Australia from last year after it being stuck in music rights limbo forever. The footage of the backside flip from the cover is so nuts. Co-starring Will Jones.

Tipping Points is a sick upstate New York-based video by Taryn Ward with parts from Japhey Dow, Justin + Nate Grzechowiak, Jonny Goupil, and more.

Rochester Report — Michael Breitmaier’s ‘Memoir’ Video

Michael Breitmaier’s Rochester scene video and follow-up to 2020’s Heirloom is now online in full. (To our less local friends: Rochester, New York is about a 5 1/2 hour drive from New York City.)

It’s a really interesting time to visit New York, and videos from right now will stand out a lot down the line. Can’t tell where these dudes are from, but enjoyed every bit of “Pull Up,” a new nine-minute trip edit from Juan Reyna. (They got the memo that Times Square is fun right now.)

“The one thing that has stuck out in my mind from early on was that clip of you backflipping off the Love Park sign after that contest. What the hell were you thinking?” Josh Stewart interviewed the forever inspirational Jahmal Williams for Germany’s Solo magazine.

Unknobbing Rails on the Run

Lebron is battling Carmelo in the NBA Playoffs …in August, and Nas made a new song with Foxy Brown, AZ and Cormega. Who really knows what fucking year it actually is, what’s going on — or anything, really.

Incredible manuals, great spots, and chic skate noises in Japhey Dow’s Heirloom part, which traverses all around New York state.

“If skateboarding is the quilt and all of these other interests that make up so much of skateboarding, if those things are the patches, just keep adding patches.” Sage Elsesser interviewed Ray Barbee for Thrasher.
