Heavy on the Max clips, obvs. Rumor has it that Coots is working on a sequel! 🤞
Transworld, which apparently has the rights to the 411VM archive (or something to that effect, idk), revived the video magazine’s “Spot Check” featurette for a modern version. The first installment is shot by Mike Sass and checks out Borough Hall, covering every corner from the micro curved ledge to the tall ‘n short handrails.
“Money flies.” Felipe Munhoz is the latest subject of Skate Jawn‘s “$100 Chill” feature, shot in the waning days of the O.G. Tompkins flat. He makes everything look way too easy.
In this quarter’s acknowledgment of the old adage about how “No one skates NYC harder than the Arizona drink company skateboard team” (see #9), we’re inclined to share Leo Heinert’s “Prodemic” part.

We were so naive to think that we could close the lid on 2018 while retaining the innocence of never hearing “Sicko Mode” in a “Summer Trip to New York” montage *facepalm* Jk, jk. The Chef boys from Milan came through in the eleventh hour and released a montage from their summer here.
Akira Mowatt, Charles Lamb, Robert Lim and some of the locals have a iPhone edit from their time in Shanghai. We were there for like a week and skated maybe half of these places? Place is as wild as everyone makes it out to be for spots.
