Great Weather For D7

🧢 Classic QS arch caps available in the webstore 🧢

Congrats to Aaron Loreth on going pro for Limosine Skateboards ❤️ Aaron has a new part by Benny Maglinao out. As an added bonus, Farran Golding chopped up the audio of Trung Nguyen talking about Aaron’s 917 #2 section over the original part via Trung’s Five Favorite Parts installment.

Hugh O’Hare + some of the Travel Skateshop heads have a New Jersey-based montage out featuring a bunch gentleman who are exceptionally talented at manuals 📍

EC Melodi has a new one out entitled “Break Your Legs,” featuring favs like Akobi Williams, Coles Bailey, Myles Underwood, and more. Also includes maybe the most insane minute of slams in recent memory towards the middle.

It’s Not Bro Time It’s Showtime

Everything is a YouTube link this week, so if you’re showing up here to get your read on, you’re better off taking your ass to the library ;)

Antics is a sick 18-minute New Jersey video by Hugh O’Hare, featuring a mix of homies from Branded and Travel Skateshops. Lots of time put in at the Newark Peach Ledges and Big Screen Plaza (still boarded off unchanged, btw.) Shout out to anyone grinding the edge of a glass pane. Shout out to the drop-in at Museum of Natural History (those security guards sure have had an interesting pandemic….) Shout out to Anthony Gordon’s part and front crook fakie.

It is *so hard* to show off your great skate hair in a winter edit. 80% of the footy in Josh Payner’s new winter video blog is in beanies, hoodies and gloves, so the skating itself is left to do the talking :) Also, these edits are awesome and inspiring. Here’s the first one.

Summer 2k19 4ever

#SaveTompkins in The New York Times. Sign and share the petition to keep synthetic turf off the courts at Tompkins.

The JHAKX video from Takeshi Nagamatsu has a New York section to start it off, plus a lot of familiar faces. It’s funny to see the metal strips across the Cooper Union bank get defeated one at a time over the years.

Pleasure” is a 20-minute NJ/NYC/Philly video by Hugh O’Hare, and “Don’t Smoke That Wood In Here” is a 10-minute NJ/NYC/Philly video by the Lottery Boiz. Shout out to the enduring badness of bust-free ledges in the greater New York metropolitan area, which causes all of us to still drive out to Staten Island to skate P.S. 6…in 2019. Also, of course skaters wasted no time editing something to Young Thug’s late summer beach anthem, but tbh, “went from boogie board shorty and now I’m the big kahuna” is a lot to live up to.

#Mandatorypost of #TylerTuftycontent for our core readership.
