Save This Snack For The Morning

Spring QS goods arriving to U.S. shops this week. Gonna post a lil’ preview this week. Arriving internationally starting next week and onward ❤️ Online soon • 📷 via Patrick Buckley.

Closer has an extended cut of Louie Lopez’s footy via last year’s F.A. sesh at Tompkins, along with an excerpt from the interview Farran did with him.

Paul Young has a new video on the way starring Ben Tenner (that flick on the kickflip noseslide!) and Joe Russo. Hate that we’re already thinking about 2023 though.

Our friends at Andrew Skateshop in Miami got a feature in Vogue.

Best Bloody in Brickell

Added Thrasher‘s “The Union Square Video” — from San Francisco’s Union Square, naturally — to the Quartersnacks One-Spot Part Map, which turns one this coming July! We started out with 46 parts filmed exclusively at one spot, and have quickly worked our way to two shy of 80, with at least one on every continent except Antarctica 🥶 Wonder what it’d take to film a video exclusively at New York’s Union Square though (slated to be renovated soon, too.)

Be sure to stop by and support Skate Like A Girl’s 4th annual “Get On Board” silent auction fundraiser.

Anybody who has pulled up to the Kosciuszko Bridge spot (the new home of all the Blue Park obstacles) has asked, “Wait… is this a skatepark or..?” Jenkem got the full backstory on how it got built and why it differs from other skateparks in New York. Still didn’t answer why they used round coping 😡

Twenty Twenty Two

Happy New Year 🍾 Pleased to report that the latest round of QS merch is available at fine shops across the U.S. now. Canada + Australia probably this week. Japan, Europe + Korea definitely this week ❤️ The QS webstore will launch with the new line on Friday, January 7 @ 12 P.M. E.S.T. Thank you for the support, as always.

Such a pleasure watching Jahmal Williams skate. He has a solid batch of footy in the new Hopps x Labor edit, which also includes some third-eye-open spot choreography at D7 of all places.

New Josh Paynter video blog full of creative spot digging went up just before the new year. Love these a lot. 10/10.

Andrew Skateshop’s ‘Yastle’ Video

It feels like ~*literally*~ yesterday that people would come up to you asking, “Is your name Andrew? No? So why does your shirt say Andrew?! Ahahaha!”

But no. It has been four years. Jimmy Butler carried the Heat to the NBA Finals in the time since Andrew’s inaugural video, “Landfall,” back when the shop first opened in spring 2017.
