Would not be a stretch to say that it has been a landmark past week for skateboarding. The countdown covers tech manuals, boardslides connecting rooftops, crooked grinds on rocks, snowboard rails, the most casual way you could possibly nosegrind up nine stairs, incredible no-push line choreography and much more.
Anyone who has been with us for a while is aware that we have a bias to flip trick form above all else, but we try to parse it where we can.
And to the small crowd of “it can only be one clip per slot!”-truthers: in this particular case, the fact that it was all in one session is kind of the clip itself. And for some additional insider intel, there was a third trick attempted after those that made K.T. have to be like, “I’m not filming that on an iPhone, you need to get someone with a real camera.” So it’s a bit like asking someone to choose a single trick from the Penny bank-to-chain session.

Penny chain session mentioned *
my favorite trick down the bank to chain is the nollie backside flip
not so hard is it?
I like the parallel between Penny and Antonio a lot. Funny it hadn’t occurred to me before and feels so obvious now, down to the cheeky switch ff impossible
I like the swollie over the chain
Incredible roundup this week — the creativity and technical precision are next level. That rooftop boardslide blew my mind, but honestly, the whole no-push line choreography had me rewinding a few times just to catch the flow. And yeah, the fact that all those tricks came from a single session just adds to the magic. It’s rare to see that level of consistency and style packed into one timeline. Can’t wait to see what gets filmed with the “real camera” next!
