For the second installment (!) of “Downtime,” we’ve got a seasonal treat with freshly-minted pro Gus Gordon as he rides out a tailbone injury. If one episode makes a pilot, then two gets a series going and we’re looking forward to bringing you more of these inside peeks to what our favorite skaters are getting up to when they’re not skating.
Gus set up a special day of gardening, costume shopping, barnyard zoo visitations, and oysters. It’s a warm-up for what Antihero’s newest pro has in store and a nice palette cleanser as we head into Skateboard Oscar Season™. I wouldn’t deign to compare it with other legendary offerings like the Simpsons’ “Treehouse of Horrors,” but you can go ahead and consider this our Halloween episode. Have a safe weekend everyone 🎃
