Thanks to everyone who grabbed something from the Hopps collab. We still have a decent selection of sizes left. Appreciate the support as always ❤️
Skate Jawn has Neil Herrick’s part from Attention Span by Dana Ross, which also includes a good dose of Matt Militano tricks.
Our friends at Nocturnal down in Philly dropped an edit for their Nike SB AF1, and it includes a mini part’s worth of Mark Del Negro footage. Anyone debating about whether nu-Muni footage is valid in a vid can rest easy in knowing it’s perfectly fine for a skateshop shoe colorway edit ;) Remains to be seen how it fits in your S.O.T.Y part ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Reynolds, Shane Heyl and Spanky spoke to Jenkem about some particularly iconic moments of #musicsupervision in Baker videos.
Goddamn, Cairo Foster has been on a lot of magazine covers, but he was pro a long way from today, when “the cover” means one thing.
ICYMI: Harry Bergenfield’s much-awaited Philly scene follow-up to She’s Cheating went live last week. And if there was ever a way to include clips of legends in a video, this is the best way. Incredible parts from Graeme, Orion, Brian Panebianco and Brian O’Dwyer.
Theories resumed its “Raw Files” series, going all the way back to 1998 and the first Washington D.C. trip for the first-ever Static video.
Yuri Facchini is the latest guest on The Bunt + Grant Yansura was on the Mostly Skateboarding podcast to talk about UNC.
The overhaul of the other part of Tompkins was approved by the community board the other day. Incredible to have lived long enough to realize that over half the people skating T.F. in 2026 don’t have any recollection of the AstroTurf battle. Bless.
“Yeah, he was gonna try a trick over the grate, but he ended up gambling away the money him and his girl had saved for a crib instead.”
QS Sports Desk Play of the Week 🏀 — The play of the week is the fucking banner getting raised, are you fucking kidding me? Have had to retort a lot of “…you are weird about sports” comments in the past week when reminding people IDGAF about what the Knicks do this year. (Most helpful tactic has been: “Well if the Bills won last season, would you give a shit about this one?” “If the Blazers won, would you care?”) We are not Lakers fans. And it’s even more beautiful to be able to turn on, idk, a Denver-OKC game on a Thursday without worrying about what happened on MSG. Thank you for the peace, fellas. Peace is nice. (Honorable mention though? 6′ 7 Amen Thompson blocking 7′ 4 Wemby.)
Quote of the Week 🗣 “If this year taught us anything, it’s that we gotta be more delusional.” — Elissa Martini re: applying lessons of the Knicks title to life’s greater journeys.
“I’m Good 3” — which was responsible for a resurgence of QS interest in Michael McDonald’s absolute slapper masterpiece in 2016 — is somehow ten years old. Here’s to seven more ;)
