Dime and Alltimers present…the first skateboard specifically designed for girls.

It may be gone by the time you read this, but the crew from Canal Wheels dropped off a new box at T.F. (Though it seems to have already switched sponsors.) Sorta wonder if a loose box stands to live a longer life at Delancey curb rather than T.F. these days.

TWS posted a “Five Trick Fix” from Johnny Wilson’s new video, Sure. Word is that it’s going online sometime this week :)

Obviously there are three Soho clips in the new Austyn Gillette part.

Also always been my favorite part from the guy who ruined skateboarding.

SML Talk comes through with some detailed analysis of the “one down,” rather than the more popular “one up.” Unless there are photos of you running in next month’s Thrasher, A.B.Ds are an irrelevant concept in 2015. Chris Joslin or Shane O’Neill are always only a five-hour flight away. Somebody will be better than you, the guy who did the best tricks over the Flushing grate is someone you’ve probably never heard of, and nobody will ever look as cool as J.B. Gillet. This intro clip for some new company called Futur is solid. Features Santiago Sasson and Juan Saavedra, who you probably recognize from the past few Palace videos.

NY Skateboarding has some good photos of the Nike park in Greenpoint, if you have yet to go. It’s open Thursdays through Sundays from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. until Labor Day, though I feel like someone was saying it’ll last til the end of September.

Cherry 1.5 > iPhone 6

While the rest of the internet spent Tuesday refreshing live update pages about the new iPhone, we spent it checking Bill Strobeck’s Vimeo page for any hint of Joyride, the new video he’s been posting cryptic Instagram memes about all summer. Turns out Vimeo is going down the YouTube circa 2009 route of disabling videos with third party content, so Joyride didn’t make it out in time. It’s on YouTube, a day later.

Though not an “official” Supreme project, Joyride is more or less a six-months-after-“cherry” milestone that shows how ridiculous the current rate at which young kids progress is. (That, and a check-in on growth spurts. T.J. might rival Yaje right now for New York skateboarding’s quickest height spike ever.) Joyride stars Sage Elsesser, Sean Pablo, Nakel Smith, Tyshawn Jones, Kevin Bradley, Aiden Mackey, and Ben Kadow, who has a lot more screentime than he did in the last vid (the gap firecracker is insane.) Most of the 21+ crowd from “cherry” stops in for a cameo, including a rather unexpected Bryan Herman signature move :)

#Boobs are still trending in summer 2K14, and shout out to Bill for joining Josh Stewart in the ranks of elite skate auteurs who refer to skate videos as videos.

…that ender 5050 better be a magazine cover next month. Meatball!

Congratulations to everyone who was involved with this: Skateboarding at the Santa Monica Courthouse is now legal. A colossal step forward with how skateboarding is treated in America altogether. Small Banks restoration next? :)

Despite having literally no interest in the Life Extension video whatsoever, the running commentary at SMLTalk piqued the Quartersnacks Office’s interest. (Susan Sarandon is still sorta hot for 60+ btw.) And good thing it did. Pat Pasquale AKA Sinner’s part is INCREDIBLE. We’re talking Josh Kasper in The Storm meets Guy in Mouse meets 2001: A Space Odyssey meets Total Recall. It’s amazing.

Well that was quick: new Supreme mini video with all the “cherry” kids on the way. Sean Pablo also discusses it briefly in his new Vice interview.

The Skate Jawn four-year anniversary clip is a good time.

Speaking of good times, we have a frontrunner for 2014’s “feel good” part of the year. Cult favorite of apparently Kenny Anderson and anyone who grew up on Baker videos, Scott Kane stepped away from handrails and filmed a really fun comeback part.
