The first year of the QS Cup Presented by Vans went down in Greenpoint, Brooklyn — just steps away from the onetime home of the world famous Autumn Bowl. Sixteen of the world’s best skaters were paired in an eight-race bracket, racing each other around our specially engineered pump track until only one skater was left standing with the trophy.
Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us last Saturday. Shout out to Vans for believing in us and throwing their resources behind the event. Shout out to Kona Beer, Liquid Death, and Topo Chico for providing bevs. Shout out to Father Bop on the tunes. And shout out to Big Hen Dawg and Joey Pops for keeping the pace going on the microphone all day. Shout out to Graver & Sons for building this beast of a ramp, and to Pad Projects and Zach Sheats for producing the event. Shout out to Minnow’s for serving the drinks.
