For such a high-profile world city, Paris has been rather underrated for skating ever since the Lordz video era. Last week’s nine-minute “Scene” edit from Kingpin really puts how great it is into perspective. Spent a good two weeks there this past summer, and never saw at least 75% of the spots they skate. Features some solid Rich Homie Juan tricks. Also, if you slept on Vincent Touzery’s part in the Cafe Clope video (14:40 mark) earlier this year, you’re dumb.

County (“We were just a bunch of rejects from the industry”), switch 360 flips over Cali tables off flat, and stuff about the business of skateboarding in the nineties that other interviews may be reluctant to address. Must-read for anyone who is a fan of that much mythologized decade.

The Dime crew compiles all the monumental achievements that have occurred while a skater was wearing a yellow tee shirt.

Kanye’s inane, more-calculated-than-people-care-to-admit rants seem to be the latest avant garde skate clip #musicsupervision choice, but when is someone going to edit a clip to DJ Khaled’s McDondald’s commercials?

Happy fall fashion week. We hope that you are fashion-forward during these next several days, and wish you the best of luck in sparking a brief romance with a lonely stylist’s assistant before the week is out.

In honor of this most festive of weeks, we have compiled a somewhat comprehensive guide to the best gear from the past twenty years’ worth of skate videos. Skateboarding didn’t just begin “embracing fashion,” as some misinformed outfits have recently reported. Fashion has been stealing shit from skaters for years. (Luckily, they left Javier Nunez’s City Stars jeans alone.) Here’s the proof: All the jerseys, sweats, camo, braids, insane patches, sweater vests and swooshy pants that you could ever hope for.
