Almost got caught off guard with December starting so close to Thanksgiving until NY Mag ran their “Reasons To Love New York” shit (which is what this series is pretty much based on.) Had to scramble the notes throughout the year and get to writin’.

Definitely remember this one being a crowd favorite at the premiere: Kevin Taylor’s part in Static 6 is now online to commemorate K.T’s new spot on the Hopps team.
Jake Baldini becomes the first person to ever return a purchase and replenish his balance in the new installment of Skate Jawn‘s “$100 Chill” series. Shout out to Jake and his crew for that bank-to-ledge at Mosquito Beach.
“I do remember chatting to him when he was pranging out about having to switch flip the London Bridge stairs, that’s quite funny. The “Favorite Spot” series was overdue for a New York edition — it has been three installments, and not a single one has been in the northeast.
If you told anybody who was skating Grant’s Tomb in the days when it was a backup spot after you got kicked off the Columbia campus that soon, the ledge into the double bank would become its most-documented feature, they’d have a tough time believing you. Dick Rizzo has somehow turned it into a fixture throughout his video parts, dating as far back as Paul Young’s 2012 Nevermind video.
