Was wrong about the Muska Epicly Later’d airing last week, but it’s definitely airing this week, and the Tom Cruise coke movie is sick.

Free has a new part from 2013 Q.S.S.O.T.Y, Leo Gutman. The guy’s eye for spots remains unparalleled after all these years.

Best video of 2017? Scumco and Sons has a new one featuring Kyle fucking Nicholson and Philly Santosuosso. The overall spirit of the Pittsburgh skate scene is one of the most admirable, inspiring and make-you-feel-stupid-for-complaining-about-literally-anything forces in skateboarding. God bless everyone involved. Really predictable #1 for this week’s QS Top 10 as well.

My new favorite skateboard-writer, Jesse Alba, also wrote the article about their trip to Russia with accompanying photos by Colin Sussingham.

Big surprise, Bobshirt compiled another amazing interview, this time with Rob Pluhowski. He runs through the full history of Habitat without any hints of entitlement or bitterness that seem to color some others’ recollections of the era. Gracious interview from a guy who graciously bowed out of skateboarding.

YO, massive shout out to the crew, politicians, shops and community in Providence, Rhode Island, on getting an approval to turn an underused corner of their downtown into a full-on block of a skate plaza. Let this be a precedent for cities across the U.S.

That was key to the success of the game.” Ironic that the reason maybe 50% of the people now in their late 20s started skateboarding was something intended to be an unrealistic simulation of skateboarding. Been a while since we ran one of these. This edition comes from a childhood hero of anyone who started skating during Shorty’s post-Fulfill the Dream reign. Muska covers some usual suspects, but luckily goes into a bit more detail as to *why* exactly some of the parts we’re often told are #important, are. Had a ton of fun doing this one. Unfortunately had to leave off the two honorable mentions at the bottom :( before it got way too long, though he was just as enthusiastic about those.
