Not a ton of New York news this past week…

4 Cities, 100 Nuggets” is a mini video featuring some Canadian dudes (…I think?) doing a two-week road trip through North Carolina, Philly, New York, and Boston. That back noseblunt bigspin at Baldi really came out of left field + good to see people coming up victorious over the speed bumps at the recently-knobbed plaza on 110th and 8th (which is sure to be utilized by absolutely nobody now, considering it’s in the middle of the street, with no shade, and across from a 840-acre park full of trees…)

Thoroughly enjoyed this… a lot: Kris Brown in the Philadelphia-based, A Regular Ass Video by DJ Traceman.

“It’s not a boot-camp for the Olympics.” “No, it’s a boot-camp for life.” Given the stature of its alumni, you likely know of its existence, but you probably don’t know much about the skateboarding high school in Mälmo, Sweden. Skateism has a full interview about Bryggeriet, and how’s its not exactly what you would expect.

Brian Delaney and a few others skate some Boston classics in a collab clip between Grand and Orchard Skate Shop. (Is that the first time somebody has backside 360 kickflipped a trashcan on flat?)

Extralinkable

Frame via Mehring. Sorry that Rob’s a bit blurry. Hate hate HATE that Instagram replaced Tumblr for things that Tumblr was way better at doing, e.g. not compressing skate photos into goddamn 700px size, but then again, I’m sure someone was going on about the same thing when all the mags were going under, so…

Pssst…shops are getting spring/summer QS stuff in now. Online next Monday, May 13. More info soon ♥

The first Blobys edit in over a year! This one got a good deal of burn these past few days. Roman Gonzalez is the all-time leading scorer of making visual poetry out of tricks nobody else is getting away with :)

I guess people are just, like, nosepicking the side of the building at Blue Park now?

Lurker Lou premiered his new part — filmed entirely in purple Adidas Campus shoes he kept finding in Cape Cod Marshall’s locations — on a box truck decked out with L.E.D. screens this past weekend. Village Psychic made a video profile with Lou about his footwear-based artwork over on their site.

Brian Delaney’s ‘Twice Around’ Part

Brian Delaney invites you to take a sip (maybe a shot if you’re bold) each time you see a backside tailslide in “Twice Around,” a somewhat new, somewhat recycled, somewhat not Eggs, somewhat mostly Eggs part from him, Alltimers and Lee Madden. A couple highlights are pulled from Lee’s past two projects, but given the speed at which everything moves through a feed these days, who’s really counting, we’re all friends here ;)

Filmed and edited by Lee.

Alltimers ‘No Idea’ B-Sides — Boston, Canada, Barcelona

And so, the prolonged afterlife of a full-length video released in 2018 comes to its close: the final “B-sides” clip.

No Idea was the video that earned Etienne a Gucci polo. These are the bits that didn’t — in fact, they didn’t even earn anyone a Ralph Lauren polo. B-sides are the U.S. Polo Assassins polo of the golf shirt hierarchy, and these are the ones that took place on various filming trips to Boston, that time E.T. got stuck in Spain for ten months, and Canada. Alltimers for Adidas available in skate shops now.

Filmed by Rob Harris and Corey McNeill.

Rough Idea: Alltimers New York B-Sides

Happy belated back-to-back birthdays to Etienne “Who Is That Child That’s Always On Your Instagram” Gagne and Dana “Forbidden 14” Ericson — who, coincidentally — have the highest volume of B-sides filmed in New York from the Alltimers No Idea video. Figured this would be as good of a time as any to post another installment of these. Features a few Philly clips but same difference yaknow.

Filmed by Daniel Wheatley, Emilio Cuilan and Corey McNeill. Best viewed while desperately hoping that there are zero acoustic guitars on Slime Language.
