Fakie bigspin manny line was a real crowd pleaser :) Also, those security guards at the gold rail on 52nd Street might be the worst in the city…

QS Sports Desk: Going to switch it up a bit this week and link an article. I thoroughly enjoyed this new interview with Real Sports‘ Bryant Gumbel. Where to skate in the rain?
My guess is that QS music supervision is like a juggernaut that is no longer even under QS staff control. It’s gone so far, there’s no backtracking now.
Bet you guys are actually hurting in side, and have been for some time…probably inflicting pain on yourselves, just to feel SOMETHING. yknow?
I can picture the QS staff, daydreaming of posting a clip with ‘A Visual Sound’- style post-bebop Jazz, or maybe some true school hip hop music a la Zoo York Mixtape?… perhaps a little indie rock B-side or quirky eletronica like many Transworld videos?
Maybe now that the Ying-Yang of irony/sincerity surrounding QS music supervision has folded in on itself like a wormhole several times over in the past few years…perhaps the tectonic plates of music taste will shift to reveal some music choices that AREN’T taken from the iTunes playlist of an assistant manager of a cell phone store in Queens.
