One of history’s most prolific frontside nosegrinders teamed up with one of history’s most prolific frontside 180 nosegrinders for a new Berrics “Off the Grid” segment in Harlem.
Features many prominent QS uptown stomping grounds: Lenox Ledges, the zipper ledge, Columbia (even including a token altercation with a West Indian security guard), the plastic benches at Manhattan School of Music, the hill on Claremont, and those footage-never-does-them-justice sketchy banks across from the McDonald’s on 125th Street.
The only thing missing was a stop off at Dinosaur BBQ, the Quartersnacks office’s favorite NYC-based barbecue destination. Or at least the Burger Man on 117th & Lenox.
And while we’re on the topic of uptown, Cam’ron lived up to his tweet bigging up Ri-Ri’s “Song of the Year” contender, and dropped a remix to “We Found Love.” The song’s kinda perfect already, Cam or no Cam. (Wouldn’t be opposed to Future hopping on the remix though.)
if only the we found love remix had been available for the QS end of year clip. still a sensational clip though.
“We Found Love” is perfect as is. The idea of him rapping over it is cooler than him actually rapping over it.
