T-Funk’s financial advice to his future children: “Don’t look up to me.” He thinks Tom Scharr is trying to be Bob Burnquist, but Bob Burnquist says he himself wants to be Tom Scharr. Satan’s Drano siphoned the Hot Ones format through a satanic offshoot of 90s public access TV for their show, The Last Supper, and their first guest is Tristan Funkhouser.

John Wick, John Wall & John Doe

Baseball bats, socks with rocks in them, Vesuvio Playground mafia kids, etc. Eli Gesner is the latest guest on Transworld’s “When The Brooklyn Banks Were Dangerous” series, re-telling the famous Banks Halloween story that sounds like a cross between The Warriors and After Hours if both movies had skateboarders starring in them. Pretty sure he told it on an old Nine Club (“This dude just explained the plots of 20 different Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies“), but this one has the added bonus of being at the actual locations. P.S. If you witnessed the fallout of a certain incident last week, you can probably make the case of the Brooklyn Banks …still being …nevermind.

The Summer of Seward continues for the second year in a row. (Ollie up the seven remains NBD, right?) Blake Carpenter, Art Cordova, Thomas Dritsas, and Daniel Teran star in a Vinyl Skateboards “Summer Trip To New York” edit by Kevin Perez.

The Fargo Skateboarding crew from Illinois also dropped a trip to New York edit. Wild that the Marcy Ledges are even popping up in trip videos now.

Can’t Rush A Bluntslide

Shout out to the street pool in The Bronx. They’re really using skater brains to make something out of …yeah. Not sure about diving off the scaffolding though.

“Are you a believer?” It has been over a year since the last Panorama or Rat Ratz video, but to hold you over, Spezzatura dropped “RAWR 5,” a compendium of what has gone down in the Milan skate scene since the winter. Safe to say that the subtitles are once again the funniest part. Very pretty flat at the start 🇮🇹

Ben Kadow did the “5 Greats” questionaire for Thrasher. Can’t wait for Ben to skate to Chief Keef in his next part. Also, will echo the NY Pizza Suprema sentiment 🍕 A man can really get some thinking done with a mushroom slice on the post office steps across from MSG.

Naquan Rollings continues to go through his old VX tapes, with the latest installment clocking in at 13 minutes of 2019 footy. Still committing to that back heel after the Parks Department parked at the bottom of the steps was wild. Staten Island line is a classic too. [Previously: Midtown 2017.]

“Type III Fun” is a new, all-NYC video by John Lamair featuring the youngs hucking into rocks, going back for that white marble drop-in at World Trade that everyone gets washed on, and being shocked by their own inward heelflips. Great vibes the whole way through ✨

“I got an 8.25. I got Zeroes in the car!” A watershed moment for Village Psychic’s “Lurking With Lou” series: 14 years (!!!!!!!!) after Lurker Lou allegedly ruined Matt Millitano’s life by focusing his board on Slap’s One In A Million show [according to the internet], they link up to sesh spots outside of New York skateboarding’s oft-treaded zones. Joke’s on the internet, because they were friends the whole time. Also, even as someone who has known Lou for a long time, I completely took for granted that he was 28 in that show. Beards, man.

Kiernan McGinnis has a new part out for Grey Skate Mag that’s largely filmed in Philly. The control on that bank-to-rail kickflip back fifty is too good. And if you missed the nollie backside flip at the Lily Pads [R.I.P.] from last weeks’ top ten, it’s worth a loop or ten.
