But maybe they would be down to pay five bucks for a video, just to support it so that that person, their team or crew, can keep making them.” Simple Magic spoke to Grant Yansura on the eve of the UNC release to see if there’s any way you can make your money back on a video.

GOODNIGHT IRENE is the new video from Dais Skate Co., and it might be the widest net of local spots maybe ever? Oh, going to The Bronx is deep for you this weekend? These dudes skate every single borough, upstate, Long Island, Jersey, Connecticut, Philly — literally everywhere. The filmer’s spotbook has gotta be crazy.

Of all the things QS has been a part of, being able to facilitate a bit of seed money to the D.I.Y. plaza next to the Trinity Repertory Theater in downtown Providence, Rhode Island (back in the days when Levi’s had a formal skate program and was putting $ toward’s D.I.Y’s) has to be the top of the list. Here are the renderings for what the latest expansion will be. Wow.

2025? Waxing ledges was contagious. 2026? Hell Rides are contagious.

Greg Navarro and Jenkem’s video of profile of Ari Misurelli and Luca Mayer racked up over half-a-million views in less than a week. While it’s horrifying that they don’t have any friends their age who take skateboarding “seriously” — for context, that is about half the amount of views that the reigning S.O.T.Y’s part got in 7ish months. People wanna see the youth skate. Hopefully, that makes more of ’em skate, idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
