Available at European accounts now. Arriving in Canada and Australia this week ♥ Thanks everyone for the support.

Josh Velez has a quick interview over on the Air Jordan blog.

“You want a toke?” “I don’t do drugs.”

Frog posted the raw footage and B-sides to Hjalte’s guest board part.

…and Ben Chadourne posted the full battle behind Franco’s nollie cab flip.

“Is the speed of Jamie Foy’s ascent, from amateur to pro and SOTY the same year, a reflection of or reason behind the breakneck pace driving skate media these days?…Could the nod to Jamie Foy also serve as a quiet acknowledgement that it shoulda been Fred Gall one of those years?”

Iron Claw is [not] having a premiere for their new video this Wednesday, December 13, at 122 Meserole Street. Two showings: one at 8 P.M. and another at 9. Teaser here.

L-O-FUCKING-L at your poor ass life.

Though Ride doesn’t do much these days apart from continue to ask us why Chicago isn’t a bigger deal in skateboarding, Slap brought back the article predictions thread for 2018. “Shake Junt hires Ty Evans for next video: Chicken Drone Nowison.”

Here’s a new one from Jake Kuzyk and all the Vancouver boys.

Theories is posting raw files from Elkin’s videos. First episode is fall 2010, and features Aaron Herrington, Leo Gutman, Quim, and Vert God before he started to GRoE.

Tony Manfre and Pat Stiner look back at Static 3 for its ten-year anniversary.

“Like the flow of posts through social media, skateboard graphics are inherently ephemeral. They are destined to be worn and scuffed and distorted until all that remains is smeared paint and exposed wood. But some images are designed to linger, if only in the imagination.” On the ascent of Polar Skateboards…as a menswear brand.

Jeff Lenoce still has that flick. Go make a stack or something ;)

New Bunt with Hermdog. You think the guy in the comments found the song by now?

Harry Bergenfield filmed a two-minute Carlos Mendoza part in L.A.

QS Sports Desk Play of the Week: The end of Clippers-Wizards was a little nuts.

Quote of the Week: “Marriage? Fuck that. I’ll never get married. Unless she’s rich as shit.” — E.T.

Jamal Smith tweeted this one yesterday. Probably, haven’t watched it this decade, but remember that finally tracking down that Diamond D song was a pivotal prepubescent moment. Also, shout out to all the 2017 Kasperholics.

My Favorite Skater Got A 5S With The Screen Cracked

R.I.P. Shorty’s, a place that showed the world the positive power of skateboarders adopting a forgotten corner of the world, and being left the hell alone in it. QS is hardly a transition skating-based enterprise, but there was something magical about each and every visit we took out there, even if it barely involved skateboarding on some days. Grateful to have been a part of it in some tiny way. Thanks to Andrew and all of the boys, and best of luck on the next chapter.

The Orchard boys have some nice items on eBay to support the Roll For Rob fundraiser.

It has been a slow news week out there. Links to Instagram clips: 1) The front noseslide on a foot-and-a-half high ledge heard around the world. 2) The double heelflip in Spiridons currently reverberating around the world. 3) Jake.

“You wanted a skate shoe that you and Sheffey could go to the club in.” “That’s the goal, yeah.” A lot of guys who started brands give interviews about starting brands, but Sal Barbier is a guy who you should listen to if you want to hear a guy give insight on starting brands. Thanks for the shout out man ♥

I’ve heard friends who don’t skate anymore and barely follow skateboarding say Jamie Foy is their favorite skater. Can’t knock that one. He’s got a couple New York clips in this Jenkem video of a recent Diamond trip.

“Does US sports apparel manufacturer New Balance and its ‘Tricolor’ executive production team deserve credit and reciprocal shoe-purchasing decisions for coaxing forth the most complete PJ Ladd video section since the Iraq war’s onset?” — Boil the Ocean re: the rumored-to-be PJ Ladd part in the upcoming New Balance video.

We let Crazy T take over the QS IG story last Thursday, and couldn’t let the fun fade into oblivion after 24 hours. Still watch the Eminem video five times a day.

Hockey has a 30-second commercial to commemorate Ben Kadow turning pro.

So glad to see friends from Vine shredding New York on other video sharing platforms.

Thanks to everyone who supported the QS For Street Machine project. Some stuff still left on the webstore. Anyone who ordered over the weekend should be getting a shipping confirmation in the next 24-48 hours :)

QS webstore is now live with new beanies, longsleeve Snackman pocket tees, a reissue of the Tompkins Track Club hoody, and restocks on fall items. All of the new items are webstore only, i.e. won’t be at any shops. Also, we promise sending orders out won’t be a shit show like the last drop :) Thank you everyone for the support ♥

Solo interviewed Cyrus.

Tiago should’ve got S.O.T.Y, but at least Michael Scott is finally happy.

You probably saw it, but it’s perplexing as to how nine minutes of raw Jake Johnson footage can only have ~21K YouTube views? The remixes are bound to be rolling these next couple weeks, so here’s one that imagines if the rumors about Jake getting on Polar a year or two ago actually came true.

Why does it seem like frontside noseslide nollie heel out to fakie has been having a moment lately? Zoo dropped a sick 1/2 Ron Deily, 1/2 Gavin Nolan part last week.

Carlos Mendoza did the stage to rock ollie at 20th and C backwards

Village Psychic eulogizes Cliché. J.B’s Freedom Fries part will always be #top5 for me.

“It is widely agreed that anything that ever happened in skateboarding, past or present, occurred on Osiris’ 2001 ‘Aftermath’ tour.” Boil the Ocean on the decreasing chance of untapped interview subjects in skateboarding. Yo, who was at the Aftermath Tour stop at Chelsea Piers that day? We should all do a reunion.

Jenkem hung out with the one-man team behind @vintagesponsor.

The Kush Cowboy lipslide hubba from “cherry” just got torn down, so this long-winded Diamond commercial is most likely the last bit of footage you’re going to see on it.

Part one of a trip video featuring the two greatest New Jerseyian skateboarders roadtripping up to Maine. Don’t watch it if you’re hungry though.

Nothing to do with skating…just want to point you guys who like words in the direction of this incredible piece of longform journalism ;)

QS Sports Desk Play of the Week: Ish? Ish! (Yeah, this could be Russ every week.)

Gonna throw the unsolicited information out there that I’d be perfectly fine with spending American currency on a Tinashe x Metro Boomin album…
