In running this hyper-specific multi-thousand dollar skateboard media conglomerate, it’s easy to get isolated in a bubble of what comes through the QS news desk. The Bunt, perhaps more than any other skate media outlet, has expanded our horizons. By embracing the sports podcast format to near-parody levels (…those sponsor intros), they have created a safe space for themselves to nerd-out, and for pros to feel more comfortable letting loose than they would in say, a magazine interview. The Bunt has made me care about skaters whose parts I’ve never remembered or checked for, solely off the strength of them giving Céphas and Donovan a great interview.
To switch up only asking pros and videographers their favorite parts, Céphas and Donovan gave us two of their favorite parts of all time, along with one that they could both agree on for The Bunt’s personal canon.

The Shady One™ put together a clip of a new Brooklyn D.I.Y. envisioned by Max “#MCM” Palmer, in conjunction with Nike’s 58 project. Features Cyrus, Conor, Sean Pablo, Logan Lara, etc. etc. and John Choi with the ender.
“Just as the Sabotage dudes unearthed, resurfaced and restored an entire scene that had been municipally buried and professionally abandoned, John Shanahan seems to harbour deeper ambitions.” Although the hyper #curated outfits probably draw the most attention, gonna have to echo some of Boil the Ocean’s sentiments here. The dude puts more effort into skating long-forgotten spots that people otherwise push past every weekend than anyone else out there right now, and has one of the most sophisticated eyes out for loose tiles and grates.
Boil the Ocean also weighs in on the most recent batch of X-Games “Real Street” segments, while contemplating whether or not somebody will ever look as cool as Lavar McBride when he nollie backside flipped the stairs at Hubba Hideout.
Harold Hunter Day is now Harold Hunter weekend. Features a couple chill Tyshawn clips at the Fat Kid Park. And of course Slicky Boy got a free pair of shoes.
The good news is that Quan promised to never let us down again. The bad news is that he’s being cryptic about the release of ten songs he has with Future :(

Walker Ryan has low-key (mid-key?) spent the past few years doing some of the best tricks on the staple New York spots. Old Friends put together this five-minute A.B.D. edit of all his city footage. Respect to filming the World Trade out ledge from the Burger King window, and to the fact that the security guard standing at the bottom of the bank is basically a part of the Roosevelt Island spot, no matter the clip.
This video is dreadful, but Chris Pfanner does a beast line from the rail to the double bump-to-bars in the projects on Madison Street.
