Green Three Block

Spots: Uptown Manhattan — Harlem & Morningside

Spot: Most basketball courts uptown tend to get crowded when it’s warm out, for some reason, this one doesn’t, minus a few little kids here and there. The entire spot is lined with green-painted concrete ledges on smooth basketball court ground. Leading into the park is a three block, before which you must ollie over a foot high ledge, so it’s more like an over and down sort of obstacle rather than a straightforward big three. There is also a stage area that is about three feet high, and it has two step-up ledges running off of it, which have appeared in a few videos throughout the years. They are about four feet long, and have a four foot drop at the end once you’re done grinding or sliding.

The park is usually covered in broken glass (might explain the lack of basketball going on), so you might need to kick some shards out of the way to avoid falling in it when you bail on a trick.

Bust — ♦ / Rare: You’re not going to get kicked out of here.

Location: 135th Street and Fifth Avenue, in front of Lincoln Projects. Take the 2 or 3 to 135th Street and skate one block east on 135th until you hit Fifth.
