Eclectic lil’ mix of spots this week. #2 should’ve been a Thrasher cover. That Marshall Manuel (the dude who does the coffins down all the S.F. hills) Deep Fried part is so sick. Still trying to process the physics of that wallie lipslide on the two parking blocks. And somebody tell the dude at the end that throwing pebbles to stop people who are already skating literal cobblestones probably isn’t going to work.

The obstacle that won the Tenant x Quartersnacks Blue Park design contest is being built, and we aim to drop it off next weekend. (No, we didn’t reveal the winner. Figured it makes more sense to just build it.)

Vague has a premiere of Brian Powderly’s Static 6 part. Ollieing into that smudge of asphalt on the other side of the Ridgewood Reservoir spot is, as they say, ~completely unhinged~.

Vague also sat down for an extended video chat with three of the principal filmers behind the Static series to talk all the things that skate videographers talk about 🧠

2021 Q.S.S.O.T.Y. Ben Chadourne has managed to round up almost ~every skater you want to see~ from the greater Parisian / honorary Parisian / Converse-verse into “I THINK ONE MORE.” A dose on Nik Stain, Hjalte charging into traffic, a more substantial batch of K-Rod footage than K-Rod fans have conditioned themselves into expecting within the confines of a surprise YouTube montage… plus Cyrus! Sage! Vince! Vince getting tech!
