Congrats to Beatrice on the pro board. Stephen Ostrowski has a cool story about the guest trick that she had in his Glue part on IG.

Austin Bristow dropped a seven-minute edit of the Palace boys, entitled “Laust in Translation.” Includes what is effectively a full-ish Rory Milanes part, and an ender part from Lucien Clarke, which wraps up with him hitting some of the same locations from the very first Palace trip to New York edit from 2011.

The Jenkem dudes snuck into what can without hyperbole be called the biggest bust in New York City (the Roosevelt Island Monument), so Julian Lewis could pull off two N.B.Ds. Fakie flip was worth a summons though :)

This one premiered over the weekend, but only catching it now.

Stephen Ostrowski’s projects always feel special, and the latest is obviously no exception — though it’s hard not to wish that Stephen had a bit more time in front of the lens 😔

“wick & spit” is a Glue Skateboards + extended family video, featuring an intro part from Leo Baker (crazy that Carroll Gardens schoolyard truly popped off as soon as the Carroll manny pad met its demise), and a heavy closer from Donovan Wildfong, which includes the elusive *triple replay* of a clip from the same angle. In between, you’ll find guest clips from QS favorites like Cooper Winterson, Akobi Williams, Briana Delaney and Evan Wasser.

Stephen Ostrowski is pro for Glue! And has a new part! Always get so shook watching people skate that yellow wall rail thing at Long Island University because of how close your head is to the barbed wire. Fully yelled at the screen when Stephen ducked under it. Also includes a beast varial heel courtesy of Cooper and his shenanigans ♥ (P.S. The Ether section at Three Up Three Down is still office-favorite viewing.)

In the winter, we do not go to Three Up Three Down. It is a frigid endeavor; the wind blowing off the Hudson pretty much makes you want to die. Suggesting that you go there on a tolerable day in January is doublespeak for “We’ll be drinking at The Ear by 4.”

In the spring, though — we goooooo to Three Up Three Down. The inaugural above-60 session is a QS office tradition. The spot holds a special place in our hearts because it facilitates for all: the average guy looking to brush up on a few stock flip tricks, your friend who put on a few pounds over the winter and might need some words of encouragement after he clips ollieing up a two-and-a-half stair, or, um, the Primitive team.

Though a long way from the sprawling epic Christmas Clips of the past, today marks the first time since 2015 that we put up an edit for December 25. Though not the mood piece of night skating in hoodys that it once was, here are some of the easier-on-the-eyes clips from the past four or five months of bringing out the #realcamera. Half the footage is in shorts with leaves on the trees, so there was almost a debate about whether to call it a Christmas Clip at all, but who even has the time anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
