There are times when we here at Quarter Snacks must take some time off from hating on Danny Weiss, and acting like we actually skateboard in order to mediate in issues that we feel hit deep in our hearts. Although I was going to write about my foundation for this cause, QS affiliate Pryce Leroy Holmes recently made a short, nine minute documentary about the growing problem of ostracized robots in our community, so I present to you…I Fucking Hate Robots: A Pryce Holmes production, Edited by Rob Harris, Translated and Narrated by Geo Moya. [Download or Stream a Quicktime File / Watch on Youtube]

Quarter Snacks Comics Volume 2 by Miles Marquez. Starring the infamous Benjamin Nazario. Click here if you missed part 1.

About 25% of the search referals to Quarter Snacks are from people Googling the phrase “stop snitching” and having it lead to my review of the famous DVD that blew up into a movement. Since I have inadvertently positioned myself as an internet expert on this wonderful movement, it is my duty to report the recent heated discussion of the topic on mainstream, cracker-owned news outlets (although they’re about a year too late, since nobody cares anymore besides dumb rappers). Cam’ron VS Anderson Cooper and 60 Minutes Part 1, Part 2, That guy from Dead Prez who really dislikes white people VS Fox News, Al Sharpton VS Stop Snitching. We’re only a third of the way through, but it’s safe to say “You’re rich, you drive a Lamborghini..” “A couple” is the quote of the year.

Since there’s none of our own footage to post right now (we’re kinda working on it), here’s some tidbits and things that have stood out over recent skateboard-related website browsings…

Luis Tolentino’s Little Kid Part

The City of San Francisco X the 411 Intro

Bonus montage from the Philly-based Few and Far Between video

Steve Marinos The Skate Life documentary trailer

Bobby Worest VS the state of California

TF Fight #587874387567 (I think the fights are the only redeeming aspect of the TF)

Suchagood.com…rest in peace. 2006 – 2007.

And its recently been brought to my attention that nobody outside of a 50 mile radius of the TF goes to this site, so all of you filmers with websites, haters with websites, bloggers, pornstars, etc., if you want to do some link-trading, get at me.

The 100% official, no holes-barred, totally legit, New York City Little Kid Skate Site Archive is now up. Start downloading and relive those magic moments when we ran Beer Bar like it was liquor in the 1920s. Thanks to Jimmy and Ben for sending me a bunch of the clips.

The alternate edit of Carl’s Part from Lurkers 2.

*Start Cam’ron* D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DAMN */end Cam’ron*

I just got banned from ebay on my third account over some bullshit, so if anybody has any ideas on how I could set up a new account, please let me know. I’ll give you some free stuff if it works.

Due to school’s consistent drive towards ruining my life, you won’t see too many updates for the remainder of the week due to midterms.

And somebody please tell me when this shit is off Lafayette Street so I can start skating down it again, because it’s bound to ruin my day anytime I see it.

Stick Up Kids

February 15th, 2007 | 1:09 am | Daily News | 12 Comments

If there’s one person on this planet lazier than me, it’s Peter Silsklsklasliusus. After lord knows how many delays, Stickupkidsny.com [AKA Flipmode Reincarnated] is officially up and chirping. Aside from the fact that none of the people on it make a steady income off robberies, the website is more than worth your time. And much to everyone’s amazement, it has had a steady flow of almost daily updates since it went up.

So in honor of this second phase of the much beloved Flipmode franchise, it is important to know your history, and get familiar with their dynasty. I present to you, Flipmode Throwbacks – Part 1 of 1:

“Happy” Montage: [Download to Your Harddrive or Stream / YouTube]
This is a 2005 montage, from the era where Little Kevin was less than three-feet tall, and known as “That kid with the glasses and the Osiris hoody,” and Peter didn’t know what rap music was. This is an important historic artifact, and a benchmark in terms of New York little kid skate crews (Rest in Peace PureNYSkateboarding, Mike Yedin I see you).

Billy Lynch Flipmode Part Early Edit: [Download to Your Harddrive or Stream / YouTube]
This clip wasn’t supposed to get sent to me, because it was made while the Flipmode video was being slaved over in Peter’s Forrest Hills editing sweatshop. I think 75% of these tricks made the final cut, and the ender is the same, but the song is different.

Sadly, these are the only two Flipmode clips I have on my computer. Visit the new site, Stickupkidsny.com

The Criterion Collection: Jasonwear Day

August 26th, 2006 | 1:08 am | Daily News | No Comments

In every form of art, there are always those individuals that forever push the boundaries that re-define what can and cannot be done within the borders presented by the given medium. This is of course equivalent to what the LumierĂ© brothers did for cinema, what Charlie Parker did for jazz, what Freud did for psychology, what Rakim did for hip hop, etc. This unlikely pairing of a VX1000 without a fisheye, Ben E.T. with the afro, Jasonwear with the afro and Curtis Jackson before he wanted to take you to the candy shop could be considered the standard for all internet clips to this day. This masterpiece was previously believed to be lost due to facist supression of the arts, but was recently discovered in hiding on Peter Sidlauskas’ AKA Lord Flipmode’s harddrive. Click here to see the true definition of art.
