There’s this video of Kenny Anderson and Vincent Alvarez skating Lenox Ledges (Antony Correa cameo!), and yes, Kenny footage is always a pleasure, but there’s only one bit of Lenox footage from the past week that anyone was talking about. Good lord.

NY Skateboarding posted part one of apparently a three-part series of video interviews with Keith Hufnagel. This one talks about meeting Keenan Milton, the infamous Ryan Hickey house that housed all homeless skateboarders of the era, moving to San Francisco, skating Embarcadero, etc.

If you need some skate spot pornography to cheer you up on this rainy day, Kingpin ran a listicle of the “Top 25” skate plazas in the world. FWIW, Bercy is gone and Republiqué (see 1:33) took its place, and Para-lel is unfortunately on its way out soon. The #stalinplaza tag on IG is also a great way to kill a half-hour fantasizing.

Also, how could you forget about Eggs? The northeast’s last great ledge spot / plaza north of the Beltway.

Shorty’s Guilty is sorta the Caligula of skate videos.

This seems like an occasionally horrific endeavor: Two dudes snuck into an abandoned psych ward out in New York state…so they could skate inside it.

It’s really cool to see Jerry Fowler still at it. His 411 Profile and tricks in the Rhythm industry section rank as some of the most frequent 411 revisitations, and even Strobeck admitted that he was the catalyst behind the backside nosegrind pop out’s development, which Pappalardo and Wenning later popularized among New Jerseyians in baggy jeans and DC Lynxes. A wood pallet up to the never-functional water fountain at T.F. may be the most desperate Tompkins obstacle of 2014, but then, we are reminded of this.

Went up to Canada for the holiday weekend, hence Monday Links are, um, “going up” on a Tuesday :( As you may tell from the photo above, it did not go great.

Josh Stewart remixed Kevin Tierney’s Static IV part with some alternate angles, different tricks, and a new song. Try and find a recent New York-based part where someone skates an old spot in a new way as many times as Kev does. One of the best and most original parts of the year, for sure.

Ripped Laces put together a #listicle of the best pedestrian v.s. skateboarder interactions from skate videos. “That’s why you should skate in the street: to meet weirdos.” That rationale has also been used to justify riding MTA trains, but the frustrations might outweigh the entertainment.

Well, now we know that Bobby Shmurda’s rise to stardom will coincide with a plethora of applicable #musicsupervision choices for Bobby Worrest re-edits. Also, here’s some B-side clips of Bobby from the 2000s, several of which look unfamiliar.
