Avid Monday Links readers have no-doubt been catching nods to Bluecouch edits for years now — from 2016’s “Yeet,” to 2017’s “Washed,” all the way to “Prolouge,” the one from last December that began to tie together this current roster.
Like so many crew projects, this one snowballed far beyond what anyone first intended. What started as an Insta edit, became a montage, until ultimately becoming “Group Chat,” the four-part video you see here today.

Jan Maarten Sneep has firmly ascended to that top-tier list of skate video auteurs who incite an immediate click whenever something new drops. The latest montage for Vans’ Dutch team is full of yell-at-the-screen-creative skateboarding, and contains the meticulous editing that comes with all Sneep productions.
Andre Beverley has a full new part out — in case you only caught the Columbus Park kickflip nosegrind from last week’s Top 10. Very sick to see him still crushing. Check his footy in Harry Corrigan’s OTBX2 video from last year, too.

Stoked to hear that Ben Kadow is a NBA and TCM head :) Instead of a formal interview, he did more of a #longform “Things You’re Stoked On” piece (a la the Mostly Podcast’s closing segment) for Thrasher on the occasion of his new part. Ben Colen’s photo of that Central Park 5050 gap really does that feat extra justice.

The Finnish guys who made the Hard Water video that went live on the Free site last week actually also put together a trip to New York edit that we only now caught onto. Love a vacation edit when the trees are bare + everyone is still in hoodies, though I’m sure it’s warmer than Helsinki. Also impressed by their cobblestone deterrent that keeps your board from rattling down into Sutton Place traffic.
Maybe it goes through a vigorous off-screen sanitizing process — but one’s bed seems like a bad place to sort through street debris. Anyway, here is an eight-minute glimpse into the life of Bobby Puleo.

R.I.P. (?) Le Dome. Based on documentation available on this side of the Atlantic, it’s tough to tell whether the plaza is getting demolished in full, or they’re just resurfacing it with Skatelite. (Yeah, it’s not local news, but recent local skate spot news stops around, um, that wallride / drug-use area outside of Newark Penn Station being skate-blocked / crack-blocked.)
