Real re-issued some old Huf boards and has a bit of a feature on him over on their site + clean versions of all his parts. Slam City Skates also interviewed him about Ari Marcopolis’ iconic Metropolitan ad photography. (We talked to Huf about some of his favorite snaps back in 2015 in the event you need even more Huf content hehe.)

This one was pretty heartwarming: Monster Children has a mini doc on Josh Kalis’ relationship and history with the city of Chicago. I’ve seen that street gap kickflip a hundred times before and still said “oh my God” on this go-around. (Maybe Ride will finally stop asking us why Chicago isn’t a bigger deal in skateboarding with this one?)

An Instagram account partially focused on Gino skating flat in the F.A. warehouse.

“Fresh Beer – Cold Beer” was of the finest straight-to-Vimeo exercises in ledge skating ever, and deserves some acknowledgement from the Czech Department of Tourism. The eight minutes of raw files from that trip are lovely.

Good vibes are contagious. Hearing Karl Watson reminisce for a half-hour is a nice way to set you on the path of having a wonderful day. Also, Karl is tied with The Muska for the skater who was most fun to interview for this website.

The boys in Buenos Aires did a chill wear test vid of the QS Bruin Hyperfeel.

Russian Bob uploaded four minutes of raw footage from Ron Deily, nu-era New Jersey legend and leading practitioner of lo-def noseslide tech.

Enjoyed this interview with the O.G. 2000 / Mariah video dudes about skateboarding in Switzerland, a European destination that tends to escape the global spotlight, despite being the world’s eminent destination for skateboarding on six-figure cars.

Everyone loves a good one-spot part or montage, but there’s something especially admirable about a one-spot montage of a place that instills zero desire of wanting to skate said spot due to how difficult it looks.

Today marks ten years since the release of The Inspiration, which was 95% of the way as incredible of an album as TM101, this website’s founding piece of scripture. (Even did a tribute post to it the day it leaked online, and distinctly remember listening to nothing else that winter.) There really is no greater three-peat of motivational speaking than the first three Jeezy albums. The guy has nothing left to prove #jeezysaves.

Bobby & Friends – The Last* Copenhagen Clip You’ll Ever See on the Quartersnacks Homepage

Did we singlehandedly ruin Copenhagen? No, probably not. Did we contribute to turning it into Tulum for boys, to the point where everyone goes there for “vacation” and sees the same people from the side of the ocean that they just left? Not no.

Just as Kramer blew up the big “secret” of swimming in the East River through enthusiastic word of mouth, there’s only so many times a cosmopolitan, fashion-forward skateboard blog site could write about the virtues of the world’s greatest place (full disclaimer: I’m a Paris guy), and not have at least a few earthlings leave their computer screens and hop on a flight.

It was an obsession that began with the Ragers Inc. clip, filmed during the world’s greatest skateboarder’s tenure in the world’s greatest place, circa 2011. Since then, it has become the epicenter of the world’s most absurd spots, and “home to skateboarding’s SXSW.” A few dozen Copenhagen trips between the two, and Danish-set skateboarding content on QS has hit critical mass. Maybe we’ll check out Bucharest?
