Spots: Uptown Manhattan — Harlem & Morningside
Update — Fall 2011:

The entire building’s perimeter has been blocked off for construction. Hard to tell if they are going to leave any of the previously skateable obstacles, but don’t count on it.
Spot: On the Amsterdam side of the school there are a couple of round handrails down sets of five and six, with short runway, but enough to enable you to gather speed and hit the rail. The rails in front (and all the rails at this spot for that matter) are pretty low, and are connected by a narrow bank in between each set. On the Morningside Drive / 122nd Street side of the building there is an over-sized three set, equivalent to an average five, with a platform up top that you could use as a manual pad. The top is rough, so you will need to opt for the smoother side-path that runs along the left side of the big three’s top. To the side is a similar set-up of handrails, except down sets of five and four. There are a few five-stair-equivalent rock gaps in front as well.
Bust — ♦♦ / Occasional: If you go here on a weekday after 4 P.M. or on the weekend, you should not get kicked out.
Location: Amsterdam Avenue and 122nd Street / Morningside Drive. Take the A, B, C, or D train to 125th Street. Skate south on Manhattan Avenue for two blocks, make a right on 123rd, and skate west on 123rd Street for two blocks until you hit Amsterdam. Make a left on Amsterdam and skate south for one block.
