Spots: Uptown Manhattan — Harlem & Morningside

Spot: Another prototypical New York spot that makes everyone assume the city only has spots that they skate in Static II. Throughout the entire front plaza of this hospital, there is an assortment of these bank structures that start off with a two foot high slope and turn into a straight wall that ascends about two more feet until its spiked lip at the top. Be sure to have your wallrides on lock before going up all the way to 145th Street to skate this spot. Besides the banks, there is a set of four over-long and low steps with a few mellow, although high, round rails going down them.
Bust — ♦♦ / Occasional: Come here after 6 P.M. or on a weekend and you should not get kicked out.
Location: 145th and Amsterdam Avenue in Harlem. Take the 1 train to 145th Street and skate east for one block on 145th until you hit Amsterdam. It is on the corner.
