Spots: Uptown Manhattan — Harlem & Morningside
Update — July 11, 2011

You cannot skate the hubba anymore, as it has been blocked off with a handrail.
Spot: The standout obstacle of this spot is the thirteen-stair hubba ledge that pre-rap-career / Drake-impersonator Jerme Rogers got bodied on in his Yeah Right! intro. The hubba is only two-feet high, maybe ten-feet long, with a four-and-a-half foot high drop at the very end. It is only skateable frontside for regular / backside for goofy. The surface is a stone-like concrete that slides a lot better than it grinds. The only successful grind tricks to ever go down on it are 5050s, so your options are somewhat limited.
Throughout the campus, there are stairs, benches, picnic tables, etc., but all of this stuff is way more out in the open, and thus, a lot more likely to get you the boot.
Bust — ♦♦♦♦ / Very Likely: The hubba is somewhat out of view from security, so there is a good chance you can get a solid half hour in on it before getting spotted by security. Everything else is way out in the open, so campus police is a lot less likely to catch sight of you.
Location: 137th Street and Broadway. Take the 1 train to 137th Street–City College and the spot is right outside.
