3030 Park

Spots: Queens — Astoria & Long Island City

Spot: 3030 contains two flatrails — one that has basically been completely bashed into the ground by bikers, making it under a foot in height when you roll off the ledge parallel to it, and a second rail, which is just below knee height off the ledge it’s parallel to. These rails are both round and the taller one can only be skated backside for regular / frontside for goofy (and requires a bit of a curve-in) and the really small one can only be skated frontside for regular / backside for goofy. There are also several sets of three stairs here that can be skated consecutively, or as a three-up, three-down type of obstacle.

Bust — ♦ / Rare: Normally, the Parks Department does not care if you skate here, but the people in the park sometimes do. So if you are the type to acknowledge the gripes of concerned citizens, then you might have your session cut short.

Location: 30th Avenue and 30th Street in Astoria. Take the N or W to 30th Avenue and skate west for one block on 30th Avenue until it intersects with 30th Street.
