Not that we ever expect to return to Los Angeles ever again, especially for a skate industry event, but this looks like a game changer…
DMX at a DGK party? Every person should see “Get At Me Dog” live at least once in their lifetime right?
P.S. We won’t actually be in L.A. for this. Given a knowledge of DMX’s past history, there’s a 70% chance he will get arrested or impersonate an FBI agent on the way there and not make it to the concert. But if you’re part of the 0.05% Quartersnacks readership situated in southern California, we highly recommend you attend. It probably won’t be anything like seeing DMX perform in the late-nineties, but should be memorable either way. Provided that he shows up.
P.P.S. Someone is going to say “Long Beach isn’t L.A., you dumbass,” but you should be well aware that this is how California looks to people from the New York metropolitan area:
IN OTHER NEWS…
Quartersnacks will begin planning stages for a 2012 NEW YORK CITY SKATEBOARD INDUSTRY TRADESHOW this February.
The Quartersnacks party will feature performances by 2 Chainz & Future. Drake will open up for them with QS-favorite “I’m On One,” and then we get to boo him off the stage as soon as that song’s over. Naturally, it will be at Sin City or Sue’s. No du-rags, no Timbs, no jerseys except on game day, no white tees for entry.Tweet
