New York City Skateboarding & Degeneracy

April in Paris

Some recent wonderful things to watch while I am mustering up the energy to make a new clip:

The latest Shawn Powers clip is the most entertaining thing that’s been out in a while. Everything that people have come to love about New York skateboarding without seeming like its trying too hard or channeling the most recent gay cellar door video part. Good times the whole way through. Sure, nobody in New York will ever get on Cliché, but we have more heart than them.

And while we’re on the topic of brilliant soundtrack choices, here’s another one to the sonic musings of the same man, by everyone’s favorite northeastern skateboard videographer.

And obviously, both of these links were stolen from 48 Blocks.

P.S. The realest rapper out. Shor-day!

Clip embedded after the jump.

  • i’m confused by the Cliche comment, why wouldn’t a NY’er get on? NY gets more love than anywhere these days its hardly an underdog town is it? get in the back of the line.
