Watch the clip from the Instant Winner “BRO” Tour from Summer 2007 here. Via The Diamond.

Ian Reid goes skating at the Banks with a chickenhead. (Literally.)

When I was 14, I wanted to go skate and do kickflips and shit. Nowadays, when you’re 14, with rich parents, it’s best to go retail whoring. And to lie about your employment. Shit’s disgusting, b. The comments made on the article seem a bit overly vicious, so I am not going to elaborate on this any further.

I’m starting to gather up footage for the Christmas clip, so if anybody is interested in contributing some shit for it (since we usually try to make these the longest clips of the year), drop a line: info @ quarter snacks.

School’s over in a little bit. Footage, a full detailed analysis of the existential motifs in the Lakai Video, etc. coming soon.

Ok Maybe the Lakai Video Isn’t the Worst Video Ever

Live Update #1: Only because Lucas Puig, JJ Rousseau and JB Gillet skate to this song am I willing to pardon many instances of very obnoxious slow motion and the annoying intro sequence.

Live Update #2: Carroll and Three 6 Mafia.

Live Update #3: Biebel and Jeezy.

Live Update #4: It’s over, this is the best video ever (thats not Mouse, because you know, Mouse had the decency to not play every single trick in Mariano’s part at fucking 2% slow motion).

No, this has nothing to do with skateboarding. But I am sure that if you visit QS often, you already that various random inspirations and references to the outside world of music help make this place unique in its own rediculous little way..

Well today, one half of my favorite group of all time, Chad Butler, better known as Pimp C, passed away at the age of 33. I think the holidays have made an effort to claim one person that matters in music every year, this is less than a year after James Brown died on Christmas Day.

Rest in Peace Pimp C

…or Youtube rather.

The trailer for Have More Fun, Ian Reid’s new video, allegedly featuring nothing but skateboarding. The part at 2:18 in the trailer is priceless.
